Reverend Krystle Virginia Nelson is a preacher, ministry leader, and strategic administrator committed to building healthy churches, strong leaders, and sustainable ministry systems. Rooted in a lifelong foundation of faith, she was licensed to preach in 2016 and ordained in 2024 at The Sanctuary at Kingdom Square, where she now serves as Executive Administrator to Bishop Anthony G. Maclin, guiding worship planning, clergy development, and organizational administration.

She holds a B.A. in Public Relations from Hampton University and an M.Div. from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Ministry from Virginia Union University with a concentration in Administrative Leadership and Crisis Management in the African American Church.

With over 15 years of experience in property management, Krystle also serves as a Senior Property Manager with Greystar’s Mid-Atlantic Operations & Transitions Team, supporting new developments, community onboarding, and operational leadership from Baltimore to Virginia Beach.

Alongside her husband, Bishop James D. Nelson Jr., she serves at Destiny Christian Church in Baltimore, where she teaches the Ministers-in-Training program with emphasis on personal development, biblical hermeneutics, sermon development, and ministry ethics.

Reverend Krystle is married to Bishop James D. Nelson Jr., her best friend and the love of her life. Their family includes three children and two grandchildren. Known for her discernment, organization, and dedication to people, she is a visionary and emerging entrepreneur committed to helping others grow with clarity, purpose, and excellence.
